Bimbo Ademoye, Tobi Bakre, and Osas Ighodaro were among the winners at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) held on Sunday.
Ademoye pipped Funke Akindele and Mercy Johnson to clinch the ‘Best Actress in a Comedy Drama, Movie, or TV Series’ gong.
Bakre, on the other hand, was named the ‘Best Actor in a Drama’ while Ighodaro snagged ‘Best Actress in a Drama’.
Broda Shaggi also won ‘Best Actor in a Comedy Drama, Movie, or TV Series’ for his role in ‘Inside Life’.
The award ceremony featured electric performances from music stars such as Tiwa Savage, Iyanya, and Spyro.
The annual event, which recognises outstanding performances in television, film, and entertainment, was hosted by Zozibini Tunzi and IK Osakioduwa.
