Frank Ocean, a US singer and songwriter, has reportedly lost Ryan Breaux, his 18-year-old younger brother, following a car accident in Thousand Oaks, California.
According to ABC 7, two people lost their lives in a ghastly single-car collision on Westlake Boulevard at around 1:30 am on Sunday.
The two men, believed to be the singer’s little brother and Zeek Bishop, his friend, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Ventura County Fire Department.
While Ocean, whose real name is Christopher Edwin Breaux, is yet to confirm or deny reports about his brother’s death, tributes have been pouring in for Ryan as words of the tragedy spread.
“To my brother, who was talented beyond belief, possessed a heart of gold, had an energy that was infectious, a smile that lifted everyone’s spirit, and was a loyal and authentic friend,” Paris, a son to Pierce Brosnan, a US actor, wrote on Instagram.
“You were just getting started and ready to show the world who you were. You were a leader and you had a whole army of loyal soldiers behind you.
“Thank you for being there for me when I needed you most, thank you for all the wild nights, thank you for your music and all the late-night studio sessions with Fray.
“Thank you for blessing us ALL with your presence on this earth. I will carry you in my heart always. Until I see you again brother. Ryan Breaux forever & Zeek Bishop forever.”
