Rice water
Rice water is the starchy water leftover water from parboiled or washed rice and has been a haircare routine among Asian women for centuries.

Chebe Powder
Chebe (Shebe or Chewe) powder(Lavender croton) is a popular hair care product common among Chadian and northern African women. This powder contains powerful ingredients like Mahalaba (cherry kernels), coconut oil, humra perfume, Misik (incense resin), and cloves.
A common misconception about this powder is that it magically makes the hair grow longer. What the Chebe powder does is to strengthen hair and retain hair moisture which makes hair growth easier.
Application of the Chebe oil must be done carefully. The first step is to moisturize the hair with ordinary water and apply the Chebe powder carefully on the hair from the roots to the tips (avoid the scalp as this might leave dandruff).
Leave the Chebe mask for 2 to 3 hours and rinse off with regular water afterwards.
This powder can be used once or twice weekly by mixing it in water or preferred oil.
Coconut milk
Coconut milk is extracted from mature coconuts through a simple process of grating, squeezing out its juice with a cloth sieve, and cooking the extracted milk for five minutes.
Coconut milk is a great choice for hair care. It is packed with nutrients like niacin and folate which improve the circulation of blood in the scalp. Coconut oil also contains vitamin E and fats that fight damage and deeply condition the hair.
Avocado oil
Although the benefits of Avocado have been pronounced by certain experts to work better when eaten, when topically applied, Avocado oil has its fair share of benefits for maintaining healthy hair.
Avocado oil is commonly used as a carrier oil accompanying other essential oils in hair procedures like conditioning and detangling.
Experts also advise that individuals include this fruit in their diet as it works better for hair care this way.
Flaxseed oil
Flaxseed oil also known as linseed oil are small golden seeds (one of the richest plant-based sources of Omega 3). Omega-3’s are healthy fatty acids believed to contribute to healthier cognitive and cardiovascular functions, as well as glowing skin and shiny hair.
It is important to consume foods containing this useful fatty acid because the human body is unable to produce its own Omega 3. Since flaxseed is rich in fatty acids, it provides nutrition for hair follicles.
