Femi Kuti, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Tems will be performing at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival.
The annual concert is held in the United Kingdom. This year’s edition will be held from June 26 to 30 at the Worthy Farm near Glastonbury, Somerset.
In a recent blog post, the organisers unveiled the list of artistes to perform at the show.
Kuti, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr will headline the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage on June 28 and 29 while Tems is scheduled for the Other Stage.
The organisers included Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ and Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’ in the festival’s official playlist on Spotify.
They also launched a mobile application for concertgoers while advising attendees to come by train to the event instead of driving “to create 67% less CO2 emissions”.
“The official Glastonbury 2024 app is available now! Download the free app, which is powered by @VodafoneUK, to get live Festival updates, an interactive map & to create your own personalised line-up planner – inc the opportunity to connect your Spotify account and get recommendations based on your listening. iPhone: glas.to/ios24app Android: glas.to/android24app,” the post reads.
“If you’re coming to this year’s Festival and you haven’t worked out how you’re getting to Worthy Farm yet, you could create 67% less CO2 emissions if you follow Dave Grohl’s 2023 lead and arrive by train instead of driving.”
Last year, Wizkid became the first African artiste to headline the festival.
