Chibuzor Oji, Nigerian singer better known as Faze, has announced the demise of Ifeyinwa, his twin sister — two days to their birthday.
The former member of Plantashun Boiz, a defunct music group, broke the sad news in a terse Instagram post on Monday.
He, however, did not disclose the cause or circumstances that led to the death of Ifeyinwa.
The ‘Originality’ crooner accompanied the post with a short video showing various memories of the deceased.
He also expressed sadness over the development, noting that she would be missed by the family.
“It’s a sad day. My Twin sister has left me just two days to our birthday. We the Oji family take strength in knowing that she’ll never have to deal with this world’s problems anymore. We know she’s in a better place now,” he wrote.

Shortly after his post, several celebrities took to the comment section to commiserate with him over the loss.
Joining the fray, Blackface, his colleague at Plantashun Boiz, wrote: “Be strong my friend. She is in a place where she doesn’t have to worry about anything anymore. My condolences, we all.”
In the same vein, Ruggedman wrote: “Chaibu accept my sincerest condolences, my brother. May God give you the strength you and the rest of the family need to bear such a huge loss in Jesus name.”
