Joseph Aloba, the father of Mohbad, the late singer, is set to put out an album as a tribute to his son.
Mohbad, an ex-Marlian Records signee, died on September 12 and was buried the next day.
But on September 21, the police exhumed Mohbad’s corpse for autopsy and are awaiting the results.
This was due to the controversy surrounding his death.
In a now-viral flier, Aloba said the album titled ‘Itunu’, is a tribute to the late singer.
The project is produced by Latsoul Films International.
Earlier this month, Aloba was spotted recording a song in the studio.
In the video, he could be seen singing passionately and advising people to be wary of their actions.
Aloba has been in the news since the passing of Mohbad, his second child.
Last month, there were calls from several Nigerians asking for the release of Mohbad’s body for burial.
Aloba, however, warned that nobody should collect his son’s body for burial without his approval.
In October, Bella Shmurda released a song titled ‘My Brother’ in tribute to Mohbad.
In the song, Bella Shmurda reminisced about how he met the late singer and how they became friends at first sight.
He described Mohbad as a “light that became a legend in the face of animosity”.
