Falz won the ‘Best Actor in a Comedy’ category at the 2016 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for his role in Jenifa’s Diary, another commercially successful television show.
A statement released on the website of Africa Magic indicated that Falz will, as from today, feature on Tinsel as “Kayode Beko-Williams”.
The rapper’s character is a young socialite who’ll attempt to win the heart of Telema.
“From Tuesday, the 11th of October 2016, everyone’s favourite rapper Folarin “Falz” Falana joins the cast of the hit soap series Tinsel as Kayode Beko-Williams, a young socialite with a heart of gold.
