Falz, the Nigerian rapper and actor, has opened up on his concerns about getting married.
In a recent episode of the Unpack podcast, the 33-year-old singer said he is unsure of what an ideal marital life would look like for him as a celebrity.
Falz, who insisted that he is single, also said he is contemplating whether to publicize his future marital life or keep it private.
“I am not married. I am 100% single. I do not know where you hear that rumour from, but it is wrong. Those people are peddling false information. I have been single for a while. Maybe I should just try it. I do not know the ideal relationship. Maybe that is one of the reasons why I have not bothered to try. When I say I am bothered, I do not know what the ideal set-up would look like.,” he said.
“Being an artiste, being in the public eye. Is it going to be public? Is it going to be like a coded p, or do you want to come out as a famous couple? I think these things are difficult to navigate. I think this is one of the biggest reasons why entertainers do not get to have healthy relationships like family life. It is tough. It will always come out one way or the other. I might do it and run it coded.”
Previously, the songwriter said he has not been in any romantic relationship with anyone since 2008 because he feels he is “not ready”.
In 2022, Falz admitted that he had never been in love.
