A former Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico have revealed that they’re now married to each other.
The beauty queens, named Mariana Varela, 25, and Fabiola Valentín, 22, met at the 2020 Miss Grand International competition in Thailand.
At the pageant, they represented Argentina and Puerto Rico respectively.
The duo made it to the top 10 and appeared to remain mutual friends on social media.
In a recent post on their Instagram handles, Varela and Valentin shared joint content depicting moments from their previously unannounced relationship.
The content included romantic walks on the beach, candid cuddles, champagne toasts, and a balloon proposal reading “Marry me”.
The main image that accompanied the video post shows the couple outside of the city courthouse in San Juan, Puerto Rico where they are believed to have married on October 28.
Varela is seen dressed in a white mini outfit adorned with rhinestone fringes for the occasion, while Valentin is clad in a white blazer with black slacks.
“After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors on a special day,” the caption of their announcement reads.

Since the couple’s big reveal, friends and associates of the beauty queens have been expressing their congratulatory remarks.
