Emeka Okoye, the Nigerian actor and producer, has survived a car accident.
In an Instagram post, Okoye disclosed that his near-death experience took place on Monday while appreciating God for protection.
In the post accompanied by a photo of his head wrapped in a bandage, Okoye blamed the “bad roads” for the accident.
The Nollywood star also urged people to vote in the forthcoming election.
“Thank you, Lord for saving my life on the 31st of October 2022 from a very serious accident. I saw death, but you God showed up to me,” he wrote.
“Road is so bad. Oh God. Lagos roads are in bad shape, yet no public call for action. I shall be alive to fulfil my destiny, Happy new month. Pls get your PVC. #this country must be fixed or else no hope.”

This is coming a few months after Okoye recounted how unchecked high blood pressure would have claimed his life.
“I remember early this year, I would have been an old story, if not for my good colleagues, friends who had to force me to go check my BP which was over when checked. I had to take bed rest for a while,” he had said.
