EMEKA IKE, SUZANNE EMMA OPEN UP ON CRASHED MARRIAGE

Emeka Ike and Suzanne Emma’s 17-year-old marriage was dissolved by a Lagos Island customary court in 2017 over incessant battery.

Last week, Ike, who made a comeback from his 13-year hiatus in ‘Malaika’, a film by Toyin Abraham, revisited the issues that led to his failed marriage.

Ike alleged that Emma made him lose his properties worth millions and access to his four kids.

The actor also denied ever beating his former wife. He claimed she orchestrated false accusations of assault, leading to the dissolution of their marriage and the closure of his “N480 million investment”.

Emma, however, fired back at Ike, alleging that she endured physical abuse during their marriage.

She also claimed the actor “is a drug addict”. She alleged that the actor’s drug addiction was one of the reasons for the abuse she suffered in their marriage.

HARRYSONG CALLS OUT KCEE 

Harrysong called out Kingsley Okonkwo, the singer fondly called Kcee, over his royalties with ex-label Five Star Music.

The singer left Five Star Music — owned by Emeka Okonkwo, a businessman who happens to be the brother of Kcee — in 2016.

Harrysong said he refused to renew his contract because of a need to “grow” in the music industry.

Five Star Music, however, accused the singer of breaching his 3-year contract. The label said he was meant to release three albums, but he never came through on his end of the agreement.

Both parties have since been on a warpath which led to Harrysong being twice arrested.

But last week, Harrysong alleged that Kcee has been collecting all royalties from his hit songs for seven years.

He also pleaded with Kcee, who he referred to as a “bully,” to grant him “some percentage of my royalties”.

PERUZZI: I ONCE FOUND CHARM IN MY JACKET WHILE SQUATTING WITH DAVIDO

The Nigerian singer revealed he found charm in his jacket while squatting with Davido, his record label boss.

Peruzzi said he took a shower at Davido’s house one evening. He said after his bath, he found voodoo dropping from a jacket he was about to wear.

“I took a shower one evening like 6pm. Just to shower and go downstairs to relax because I was chilling there before I went back upstairs in David’s house while I was still living there,” he said.

“I am taking the shower and I go to my wardrobe to get my clothes. Then I put on my shirt, I put on my pants and everything, and then one jacket was just telling me, ‘wear me, wear me.’ I do not know how to explain it; it was just calling me.

“So, I carried it, put my hand inside to wear it, then something just dropped. I just looked at it — jazz, tied everything, supernatural better supernatural, a jacket that just came from the laundry but they burn am.”

CELINE DION LOSES CONTROL OF MUSCLES AMID BATTLE WITH RARE ILLNESS

Celine Dion, the ace Canadian singer, has lost control of her muscles amid her battle with a neurological disease.

In December 2022, Celine announced her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological disorder causing uncontrollable muscle tension.

Claudette Dion, her elder sister, said in August that the family has not found “any medicine that works”.

“She works hard, but she has no control over her muscles,” Claudette said in a recent interview.

“What breaks my heart is that she has always been disciplined. She has always worked hard. Our mother always told her, ‘You are going to do well, you are going to do well’.”

ACTOR EZEKIEL ATILOLA TURNS OKADA RIDER, BEGS FOR HELP

Ezekiel Atilola, the Yoruba movie actor, is now a commercial motorcyclist popularly called okada rider.

Atilola, who starred in several Yoruba films including ‘Tombolo’, was spotted in viral photos and videos riding a bike.

It was alleged that he has been making ends meet as a bike rider since 2013 in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

Atilola also pleaded with Nigerians for help.

“I am the one. I am Tombolo,” he said while responding to questions from an interviewer.

DEJUMO LEWIS, THE KING IN THE ‘VILLAGE HEADMASTER’ SERIES, DIES AT 80

Last week, Dejumo Lewis, the ace Nigerian actor, died at the age of 80.

Saidi Balogun, the Yoruba movie star, announced the actor’s death on Saturday.

Balogun accompanied the post with a picture of Lewis. He also prayed that the thespian’s “soul rest in peace”.
