Eedris Abdulkareem, the ace rapper, has claimed 50 Cent assaulted Psquare, the Nigerian music duo, during a concert in 2004.
In the latest episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, Eedris alleged the incident occurred backstage on the first day of the Nigerian Breweries-organised concert at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
He claimed that 50 Cent’s entourage “flogged” and “chased away” several Nigerian artistes, including Psquare.
He added their attempt to chase him was not successful because he rebelled and they later left him.
“For the plane saga, it was the second day. A day before that time, we were at TBS at the backstage and when 50 Cent and his crew came backstage, they chased and flogged every Nigerian artistes out of the backstage including P-Square,” he said.
“I just dey boil for where I dey. I was waiting for them to come and chase me. So, they finally came. When they came they asked me to leave that 50 Cent was coming. I said, ‘So what? Please, get the f**k out of my face’.
“They went to report me to one of the organisers and he told them to leave me alone. Na there the wahala for start, so they escaped that night.”
Eedris has been in the news in the past few days over his controversial commentaries.
He recently engaged in a war of words with Burna Boy and also claimed that Charly Boy is a man who lacks integrity.
Isaac Fayose, brother of Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti state, recently described Eedris as “one of the most useless artistes in Nigeria”.
Skiibii and Ice Prince also sarcastically mocked Eedris on Tuesday.
