Drake, Canadian rapper, surprised fans when he brought out J Cole, US music star, as a guest appearance at his London show on Thursday night.
The ‘In My Feelings’ crooner, who had made the O2 Arena his home for days as part of the ‘Assassination Vacation tour,’ brought out J Cole to perform ‘Middle Child’, his hit song.
Not only did the dynamic rap duo share their bromance to fans’ delight at the 20,000-capacity arena, Drake also teased that there is a new song with Cole on the horizon.
After performing ‘Middle Child,’ the North Carolina rapper declared Drizzy’ as “top five, if not, Goddamn arguably the best rapper to ever come in this mother*****r.”
“Watching your show tonight, god damn,” he added.
Drake responded by praising J Cole for not letting fame change him.
“When I think of all my earliest memories. There was always one guy that was always right there doing the same thing as me. Taking care of his people, showin’ love,” he said about Cole.
“This man right here. He has not changed since the first day I met him”.
The ‘God’s Plan’ singer also dropped the biggest announcement of the night, revealing the pair will be releasing a new song soon.
“I can’t wait to make some new music with you. And I know we’ve been working. I can’t wait to let the people hear it,” said Drake.
Over the course of the seven-day show, the Grammy award-winning rapper brought many artists such as J Hus, Dave, Fredo, NSG, Giggs, & many more. He also brought Wizkid, Afropop sensation, to perform alongside him.
