Zinoleesky, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, has come through with a new single titled ‘Personal’.
The music star announced the release of the song in the early hours of Friday.
The song, produced by Baby Beats, is the first single off his forthcoming extended play (EP) titled ‘Grit & Lust’.
Zinoleesky described the forthcoming project as a “mirror” that reflects a new beginning in his career.
“This is a December present for those who love to love because now more than ever I feel connected to my dear listeners. I see your comments, I hear your thoughts, I listen to how you feel about how far I have come, where I’m and where you would like me to be,” he said.
“This present was made specially for you to see me more clearly than ever, for you to see that the only superpower I have is my voice. I see this project like a mirror that shows the new beginning of what I have in store.”
‘Personal’ sees Zinoleesky talking about how having God and his parents’ support makes him optimistic about success.
“Only God fit award me/ All I need is prayer from my daddy and mommy/ Lola satiramoni/ Me I go make am I won’t struggle for money/ E be like God gives me warning/ E don prepare me for anything that’s coming/ E tell me make I no dey worry/ Promise to keep me dry anytime it’s storming/ Umm ha umm ha/ Me I go make am won’t struggle for money/ Umm ha umm ha/ Keep me dry anytime it’s storming,” the lyrics read.
Since the singer, whose real name is Oniyide Azeez, has continued to pull the weight of fame in the industry.
