Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, the Nigerian rapper fondly called Vector, has come through with a new single titled ‘Gbedu’.
The rapper recently churned out the new track after a series of street dance challenges.
‘Gbedu’, a street pop song, talks about the singer’s connection with dance steps.
In the song, Vector reminds listeners about the influence of good music and how it spurs a person into dancing.
The rapper also prays that “Lord give me a sign… then my worries are behind”.
“Gbedu lo mú mi rántí pé ìjọ wá lese. Ìjọ wá lese. For sometime. I’ve been waiting for some time. Lord give me a sign. If I see the shine then my worries are behind. If you show your love. I fit show you mine. Yeah Yeah. No capping,” he sings in a mixture of Yoruba and English.
Since the release of his debut album in 2010, Vector has continued to enjoy fame and success in the country’s entertainment industry with his creative rap lines.
The rapper has four albums to his credit. The albums include ‘State Of Surprise’ (2010), ‘Lafiaji’ (2016), and ‘Vibes Before Teslim’ (2019).
In 2022, Vector released ‘Teslim: The Energy Still Lives In Me’, his latest album.
