Tiwa Savage, Nigerian R&B vocalist, has released two sizzling singles entitled ‘Attention’ and ‘Owo Mi Da’ — shortly after her last single ’44-99′ had done great numbers across streaming platforms.
The two songs were released on Tuesday and come ahead of her much-awaited performance at the ‘music village’ of the 2019 African Music Awards (AFRIMA) alongside Falz, Awilo Logomba, DJ Cuppy among other renowned artistes.
‘Attention’, produced by Black Jerzee, sees Tiwa tackle her perceived lover over the lack of attention that appears to be plaguing their relationship.
She also criticizes him for not making out time to hit the cinema with her, and complains about how infrequent they make love.
In ‘Owo Mi Da’, which is produced by Pheelz, Tiwa holds one Mr. Lavida to account after he vehemently refused to pay her for a service she had rendered him.
She also threatens to lose her cool and charges him never to underestimate her.
Tiwa’s career strides over the years, including her feature on Beyonce’s much-acclaimed 2019 album ‘Lion King’, have earned her numerous awards and accolades.
In May, she left exited Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and signed a new deal with Universal Music Group (UMG), an American music company that boasts of artistes like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga.
She recently pulled out of the lineup for the 2019 DSTV Delicious International Food and Music Festival as a gesture of solidarity for the outcry against the xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
