Tekno Miles, the Afro-pop star, has come through with his latest single titled ‘Away’.
The singer recently announced the song’s release on streaming platforms.
‘Away’ comes on the back of the success of other songs like ‘So What‘, ‘Pocket‘, ‘Peppermint‘, and ‘Peace Of Mind‘ — all released in 2023.
He also put out his new album ‘The More The Matter’ on September 1.
At the age of 8, Tekno was enrolled in a music school where he learned and mastered the rudiments of playing the piano and guitar.
He began to earn fame in the music industry after he put out his first single titled ‘Holiday’ in 2013.
He has since then released other hit songs including ‘Pana’, ‘Enjoy’, ‘Skeletun’, and ‘Diana’.
Tekno has made a name in the Nigerian music landscape with his fusion of Afro-pop and Dancehall genres.
The singer has also received several awards and recognition for his craft.
In February, Curtis Jackson, the US rapper better known as 50 Cent, hailed the Nigerian artiste for sampling one of his songs.
Tekno sampled the American rapper’s 2003 hit single ‘In Da Club’ in his 2017 track ‘GO’.
“That feels great man, it keeps me younger cus they’re still riding out,” 50 Cent had said.
