Abbey Elias, the Nigerian singer better known as Skiibii, has come through with his latest single titled ‘Bobo’.
The musician announced the release of the less than three-minute song via his social media handles on Friday.
In the song, Skiibii croons about his undying love for his woman while promising to comfort and make her happy.
“Look back and na me call u / come close make I comfort u / check phone I don inbox you / Cash app make I load u sweet life wey go injure,” he sings in a mixture of English and Pidgin.
“Baby no b lie / shey u no see say / shey u no see say I dey try / I get u for my mind…Bobo dey for you.”
Skiibii started singing while at the Ekiti State University (EKSU) but gained prominence in 2014 after he was signed to Five Star Music, a record label owned by E-Money.
He released several songs with the label including ‘Ah Skiibii’ before announcing his departure to start his own record label.
The singer has continued his impressive run in the music landscape with numerous hit songs including ‘Trenches’.
In January, he enlisted Davido, the music star, for ‘Baddest Boy‘ remix.
