Michael Addo, the Ghanaian rapper better known as Sarkodie, has come through with a new single titled ‘Till We Die’.
The songwriter announced the new song in an Instagram post on Thursday.
‘Till We Die’, featuring Ruger, the Nigerian singer, chronicles a love tale that is marred with betrayal and forgiveness.
In the song, Ruger opens with his melodious solo, while Sarkodie chips his rap lines at intervals.
Sarkodie also shared the visuals for the song, shot by Director OJ and produced by Mogbeatz.
“Are you serious?/ You are leaving me?/ You are joking, right?/ Stop playing with me/ This is for my life Nobody dey do me right/ I’m now taking it like this please/ What’s the fu*k you say/ Girl I know I f**ked your bestie mistakenly/ I know you are the best thing/ All this money I’m flexing is only you I want to spend all with me,” Ruger sings.
“Money can’t change me No other woman go fi take me mma n’abu meso but nothing go fi shake me/ ƐyƐ d’ayƐ som a nobody go fi wake me Please m’ame ndi medo/ Me serƐ mo neƐ obaa no yƐ mame biaa m’ani so/ Awurama forgetti na menni baabi kɔ OsobrokyeƐ fa wonsa bƐ wɔ m’ani sɔ cus/ Mebu m’ani ɔte m’ase,” Sarkodie raps in a mixture of English and Twi.
