Ruger, the Nigerian singer, has put out two new songs titled ‘Jonzing Boy’ and ‘Bun Bun’.
The singles were released in the early hours of Friday.
‘Bun Bun’ was produced by Jugglerz, the talented music producer.
“Ah baby viola you got me craving your bum bum shake/ I’m here with my woman as it is only your bum bum can save me/ Aleyi ma gbona believe me dem go call you mama ibeji/ Aleyi a bad oh oloun/ Make we make some condom babies,” the lyrics read.
“Sun’s out, bun’s out/ Baby get your bum bum shaking/ Workout, burnout.”
In ‘Jonzing Boy’, the singer shows off his melodious sound and boasts about being signed to Jonzing World Records.
Born Michael Adebayo, Ruger rose to prominence in 2021 after he signed a record deal with D’Prince’s Jonzing World Record, an affiliate of Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
The 23-year-old has received several awards and recognition.
In 2021, he won the AFRIMA best newcomer award. He also won the best new artiste category at the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards.
In March, Ruger revealed the title of his debut album as ‘Ru The World’.
The music star already has two extended plays (EPs) to his name titled ‘Pandemic’ (2021) and ‘Second Wave’ (2022).
He has also released some hit songs like ‘Bounce’, ‘Girlfriend’, and ‘Dior’.
