Ruger, the Nigerian singer and songwriter, has released his second studio album titled ‘BlownBoy RU’.
The 13-track project was released in the early hours of Friday.
In ‘BlownBoy RU’, Ruger features industry heavyweights such as Tiwa Savage, Zlatan, Kranium and Valiant, the Jamaican singers, and Haile, the British artiste.
The album’s songs include ‘REintroduction’, ‘Muah (Soulmates)’, ‘Giveaway’, ‘Jay Jay’, ‘Dudu’, ‘Rub Minds’ and ‘Toma Toma’.
Others are ‘Wish You Well’, ‘Toro’, ’99’, ‘Runaway’, ‘Hell Cat’, and ‘BlownBoy Anthem’.

Born Michael Adebayo, Ruger rose to prominence in 2021 after signing a record deal with D’Prince’s Jonzing World Record, an affiliate of Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
The same year, he released ‘Pandemic’, his first extended play (EP), which gained massive traction.
He also put out ‘The Second Wave’, his second EP in November 2021, and later ‘Ru To the World’, his first studio album, in 2023.
In February 2024, the singer confirmed his exit from Jonzing World Record and unveiled Blown Boy Entertainment, his record label.
The music star has received several awards and recognition. In 2021, he won the AFRIMA Best Newcomer Award.
He also won the best new artiste category at the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards.
