Qing Madi, the Nigerian singer, has come through with her highly anticipated debut album titled ‘I Am The Blueprint’.
The album was released across streaming platforms on Friday.
Speaking about the 13-track project, Madi said, “I am the architect of my own destiny. I am the Blueprint. The way music should be”.
“This album is my story—the struggles, the triumphs, the journey. I Am The Blueprint is more than just music, it’s my legacy,” she added on Instagram.
In ‘I Am The Blueprint’, the 18-year-old singer explores the complexities of love and relationships.
Songs on the album include ‘Bucket List’, ‘Ali Bomaye’, ‘Akanchawa’, ‘Feeling Alright’, ‘Damn It All’, and ‘It’s a Game’.
Others are ‘Pressure’, ‘Gimme Your Love’, ‘Garden’, ‘Goosebumps’, ‘One Day’, ‘Favorite Psycho’, and ‘Right Here’.
Born Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, Madi began her career at a young age by performing in school talent shows. She was also in her church choir.
The Delta state indigene started to gain popularity after the release of ‘See Finish’, her hit single, in 2022.
In 2023, she released hit songs ‘Ole’ featuring BNXN and ‘American Love’. She also put out her self-titled extended play (EP) that same year.
Madi has also worked with big names in the industry such as Kizz Daniel, Joeboy, and Chloe Bailey, the American songstress.
