Patrick Okorie, a Nigerian singer better known as Patoranking, has come through with ‘Three’, his much-awaited album.
The 30-year-old songwriter dropped the 12-track project in the early hours of Friday, making good his earlier promise to release the album on August 28.
The project features several tracks including ‘Mon Bébé’, ‘Yo Body’, ‘Whine It’, ‘Nobody’, ‘Black Girl Magic’, ‘Abule’, ‘Matter’, ‘Brrr’, ‘Do Me’, ‘Odo Bra’, ‘Lion In The Jungle’, and ‘Love Is The Answer’.
The album also features several music stars including Flavour, Tiwa Savage, Sauti Sol and King Promise.
Patoranking’s latest body of work comes after the success recorded by his ‘God Over Everything’ album in 2016 and ‘Wilmer‘ in 2019 — wherein he featured Davido and five other international musicians.
The gifted singer has continued to blaze the trail since he rose to prominence in 2014 following the release of ‘Girlie O’, his hit single.
With several awards such as ‘Best Dancehall Artist’ at the 2016 AFRIMA and ‘African Artiste of the Year’ at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards; he has established himself as a popular figure in the Nigerian music industry.
He made the headlines in July after the United Nations Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) enlisted him among music stars for the remake of ‘One Love’, a Bob Marley’s song, aimed at raising relief funds amid the coronavirus pandemic.
