Omawumi Megbele, the Nigerian singer, has come through with a new single titled ‘Love You Well’ to mark her 41st birthday.

The songstress took to her social media handle to announce the song’s release. She also accompanied the song with a lyrical video

In the song, the songstress employs the dexterity of Yemi Alade, the ‘Johnny’ crooner. 

The singers both churn out lyrics to celebrate their love lives.

“I say before before before/ No be love I dey reason/ Tell me why I go reason/ Say na your love wey go free me/ Baby I can’t believe it o/ All dey winchy winchy wey dey try to defeat it/ I dey tell them they can’t believe it/ It’s finally my season/ And I just cannot resist it,” they sing. 

‘Love You Well’ is produced by Meety Yussy.

With strings of awards and recognition, Omawumi, who was the runner-up of the 2007 West African Idols, has continued to enjoy fame in the music landscape.

In September 2008, Omawumi released her debut single ‘In The Music’.

The songwriter is a graduate of law from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma.

The talented had once revealed why destructive criticisms from fans no longer hurt her.
