Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, the controversial Onitsha-based pastor better known as Odumeje, and Flavour, the singer, have teamed up for ‘Powers’.

The cleric released the track on Friday as earlier announced via his Instagram page.

In the song, Odumeje reveals his intention to unleash his powers which he claimed will solve the challenges bedevilling Nigeria.

The clergyman also boasts about some of his “powers” while Flavour adds his vocal finesse to the melody.

“I got the powers/ I got the powers/ I am about to release my powers/ Abido Shaker/Gadu gangatusa skabash/ Lefasefare/ Indaboski Bahose. Citadel Santus/ Pandemonium Catastrophe/ Epidemic/ I’m a burning fire,” Odumeje sings.

Flavour adds, “I’ve got the power”.

This is not the first time the pair will work together on a music project. In 2020, Odumeje also featured Flavour in ‘Umu Jesus’.

‘Power’ was released at about the same time when the cleric will host what appears to be a “comedy” show in London, the United Kingdom.

The show is billed to take place on Saturday at the Lighthouse Theatre, starting at 5:30 pm with an entry fee of £33.19 per person. A table for 6 goes for £700 while that of 10 persons is £1000.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Odumeje also disclosed that he will unveil his new album at the concert.

“London 2024: Power or Nothing. Don’t miss this great event on Saturday 13th April, 2024. My new album will be released with great power at London 2024,” he wrote.
