Olufemi George, the fast-rising Nigerian hip-hop singer known as Oba Lurge, has tapped Swazz, the Jamaican dancehall artiste, and Ghash for his new track titled ‘Red Rose.’

The less than three-minute song is an early release of ‘Son of George’, his forthcoming album, which would hit the airwaves in the second half of 2021.

The track is Lurge’s first international collaboration as Swazz brings the patois and vibes of Jamaican dancehall to flourish alongside Ghash, who also doubles as the producer.

‘Red Rose’, which symbolises love and romance, was released under Mich Selber Music, Lurge’s music imprint, which was established in 2019.

George’s sound is a blend of Afrobeats, hip-hop, and dancehall in its elements.
