Niniola Apata, the Afrohouse singer, has put out a new single titled ‘Komiyo’.
The music star released the track on streaming platforms on Friday.
The song was produced by Deejay Shawn.
In ‘Komiyo’, Niniola croons about overcoming insults and criticism en route to success.
She also appreciates God for the strength to persevere and achieve her dreams.
“Baba mi loke/I have been insulted/They look me down/Won ni ko sin kan re re to le jade/Oh you picked me up/When I was down oh Lord/You came to take the pain away/Oh when I was down/You took me up and/Made me whole again oh my daddy, ” she sings.
Over the years, Niniola has carved a niche for herself in the music industry, portraying African aesthetics in several of her visuals.
She has also received several awards and recognition.
