The song, which was co-produced by Kanye West, US rapper, was released on Friday featuring Jack Harlow, a rap star.

In the music video, Lil Nas X is sentenced to five years in Montero State Prison after a mock trial.

This scene gives way to different shots where the rapper is seen in a jail setting, with all prisoners dressed in pink uniforms.

The video also captures scenes where naked dancers are in the shower, after which Nas moves for a prison break.

Lil Nas X also announced that he partnered with The Bail Project, a national nonprofit organisation on a mission to end cash bail while marking ‘Industry Baby’ as a fundraiser on YouTube.

“It’s personal. I know the pain incarceration brings to a family. I know the disproportionate impact cash bail has on Black Americans and the LGBTQ community. Let’s bring people home & fight for freedom and equality,” he said.

Nas’ music video addresses the ongoing controversy involving the rapper and MSCHF, a Brooklyn-based art collective, over the production of his controversial “Satan Shoes”. Nike had sued MSCHF, alleging copyright infringement.
