Kizz Daniel, the Nigerian singer, has come through with ‘Barnabas’, his highly anticipated extended play (EP).
The ‘New Dawn’ singer took to his Instagram page in the early hours of Friday to release the 7-track body of work.
The EP release comes a few weeks after the music star had teased the project on his social media pages.
He had also shared the tracklist, signage bearing the names of the production team and also accompanied the post with a terse note that read: “Allow me feed your mind and soul this season.”
The 27-year-old singer recruited the prowess of The Cavemen, the fast-rising highlife band, and Kelvyn Cole, for the body of work.
Production credits for the EP also go to talents like Blaise Beatz, Reward Beatz, Young Jon, Roc legion, Philkeyz, and Coublon.
Tracks in the body of work include ‘Pour Me Water’, ‘Addict’, ‘Eh God’, ‘Oshe’, ‘Burn’, ‘Lie’, and ‘Skin’.
The music project comes on the back of the massive airplay received by ‘Lie’, his chart-topping song, which was released as a lead single for the body of work.
Daniel first signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment, a label founded by Festus Ehimare, better known as Emperor Geezy, in 2013 but left the label following a publicised contract dispute and court case.
Since the release of ‘New Dawn’, his first album, the father of two has thrived in the Nigerian music scene, creating a niche that brands him as a “no bad song” artist.
Kizz Daniel, whose real name is Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, established Fly Boy Inc, his own record label, in November 2017 and has released two albums titled ‘No Bad Songz’ and ‘King Of Love’.
