J Hus, the British-Gambian rapper, has joined forces with Nigerian music star Seyi Vibez for a new single titled ‘Richer’.
Released globally on Friday, the nearly three-minute track is a potent fusion of their unique musical identities, masterfully engineered by acclaimed British-Ghanaian producer Jae5.
The song serves as a gritty, aspirational hymn centred on themes of street survival, relentless hustle, and the promise of a brighter future.
It opens with Seyi Vibez delivering a compelling, emotive verse, weaving between Yoruba and Pidgin English. His lyrics paint a picture of hard-won success and devotion:
“I’m getting rich and richer/ I’m getting rich and richer, oh baby, remember, ah/ She confirm say I be soldier/ No go leave am to dey suffer/ Before before, I been knew that/ Mami water, buy me Goyard, mami water, buy me Gucci/ I fit to buy you Birkin/ To ba farabale fun mi, baby/ I’m getting rich and richer,” Seyi Vibez sings.

His journey to acclaim has not been without its trials; in a revealing moment in May 2024, he revealed that he was scammed as a 13-year-old while attempting to join Wizkid’s famed Starboy Entertainment label.
