Falz, the Nigerian rapper, has come through with his highly anticipated single titled ‘Ndi Ike’.

The rapper announced the song’s release via his Instagram page on Wednesday.

“Look who is back. Linked up with the brothers @2niteflavour and @odumodublvck for this ridiculous record,” he wrote.

In ‘Ndi Ike’, Falz enlists the vocal dexterity of Flavour and Odumodublvck.

The production of ‘Ndi Ike’ was skillfully handled by Chillz.

In the track, the music stars creatively interchange between the Yoruba and Igbo dialects.

“Ayeee ife emebe go oyolima/ The biggest fish E don show/Okunrin meta who want dey check am/ Everywhere E don choke/ Jagunlabi elemi mesan/ Obodo edelu obodo edelu jim jim odelu/ Ayee ife emebe go,” they sing.

“Ndi ike ndi ike nwe obodo/ Ndi ike ndi nke ji obodo oh/ Obodo edelu obodo edelu jim jim/ Ayeee anyi aputa go/ Nwata ana ayo eze/ Otukwulu ani na afocha eze/ Ifum na Igbo kpom dede/ Nkwobi with excess pepper.”

Born Folarin Falana, Falz began his career in 2009. He has become a household name in the Nigerian music industry.

In March, he released ‘Mr Yakubu featuring Vector, the rapper.

The rapper underwent knee surgery in the United Kingdom in May after sustaining an injury on his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
