DJ Spinall, the Nigerian disc jockey, has come through with ‘One Call’, his new single featuring Tyla and Omah Lay.
Spinall announced the song’s release on his social media pages on Friday.
In the less than four-minute track produced by P.Prime, the singers croon that distance is not a barrier to love. They also promise their love interests to be “one call away” whenever they need them.
“I’m on my way to you, time is on the loose/ I will always fight for truth, if I have the chance to choose/ Here we go/ Like every other superhero, my weakness is love/ I don’t do it for the medals, ’cause no me without us/ Peace stands for the people, so I’ll be on my way/ Whenever/ I’ll be one call away/ One call away/ One call away one call away,” they sing.
Spinall has established himself as one of the most prominent DJs in the Nigerian music space.
He has done several collaborative projects with top music heavyweights.
Omah Lay, on the other hand, rose to fame in 2020 following the release of his two hit singles ‘You’ and ‘Bad Influence’.
He has continued to make a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry, especially with his unique music style.
In 2023, Tyla gained global popularity for her single ‘Water’ — which won her first Grammy award in February this year.
