Florence Otedola, a disc jockey (DJ) better known as Cuppy, has released another track titled ‘Karma’ — ahead of ‘Original Copy’, her forthcoming studio album.
‘Karma’, which was released on Friday, features Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian singer and rapper, with whom she speaks of persistence in the struggle to win the heart of her man — describing herself as karma.
The project comes on the heels of ‘Jollof On the Jet’, her last collaborative release with Rema, which she recently celebrated after the track made it to the Billboard’s Top Thriller Global chart.

‘Original Copy’ is expected to be out on streaming platforms on August 21.
Cuppy had earlier signed a deal with Platoon, a UK-based music company, for the release of the album, wherein she shared a video of her virtual meeting with the firm’s senior executives.
In August 2015, she had set off on her first DJ tour to eight cities in Africa, visiting countries like Senegal, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, and of course Nigeria.
As for Stoneboy, who doubles as an actor, he has had four studio albums to his name, winning the ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category at the 2015 BET Awards alongside two billboard plaques.
