Chocolate City Cypher’, the joint single featuring M.I Abaga, Ice Prince, Blaqbonez and Jesse Jagz, has been released.

Other rappers featured on the track are Loose Kaynon and AQ.

Chocolate City Music, the Nigerian record label, announced the release of the song on Monday.

The label said the song is in celebration of its 20th anniversary in the music industry.

“To celebrate 50 years of hip-hop and our 20th year in the game, we present to you Chocolate City Cypher,” the label wrote on X.

‘Chocolate City Cypher’ is produced by Abuchi Peter Ugwu, the chief executive officer (CEO) of the music label.

In the single, M.I. paid tribute to the late singer Mohbad while taking a swipe at Oladips for allegedly faking his own death.

“Rest in peace Mohbad, welcome back Oladips/ I sqat for road make I do this sh*t for the streets,” M.I raps.

Chocolate City was founded by Audu Maikori, Paul Okeugo and Yahaya Maikori in 2005.

The label has been home to recording artistes such as M.I Abaga, Nosa, Dice Ailes, Blaqbonez, and CKay.

Other artistes include Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, Young Jonn, Victoria Kimani, Brymo, and DJ Lambo, among others.

In 2019, Blaqbonez, Loose Kaynon, and AQ teamed up for ‘The Last Cypher’ alongside M.I Abaga.
