Blaqbonez, the Nigerian rapper, has come through with two new singles titled ‘Like Ice Spice’ and ‘Like Bezos’.
The 27-year-old singer took to his social media pages on Friday to announce the new tracks.
For ‘Like Ice Spice’, Blaqbonez expresses his love for a girl while begging for their relationship to be legalised.
“If you think this song about your girl/ Then it is/ It is what it is, uh And the pipe wey dey run her water, no fit cease/ It is what it is, oh/ Me realize/ They should legalize/ If you fit whine, whine-ayy-ayy,” he sings.
In ‘Like Bezos’, he sings about flaunting his wealth when he becomes wealthy like Jeff Bezos, the Amazon CEO.
“Today no fit be tomorrow/ Give me one year I go be like Bezos/ My bank account no fit reach zero/ Zero oooo/ Cos money always in my hands or in my plans/ Neck on froze, diamonds dance/ Pool party for Lekki Phase 1/Gyal come to the Stallion,” the lyrics read.
‘Like Ice Spice’ was produced by Northboi Oracle and Ramoni, while Big Fish was responsible for the production of ‘Like Bezos’.
Since he put out his debut album in 2021, Blaqbonez has continued his impressive run in the music industry with several hit projects.
The rapper recently featured Ludacris, the American rapper, for his single titled ‘Cinderella Girl’.
