“Amapiano is an upbeat yet emotional song… it’s a happy place, a sanctuary where we can all find peace of mind,” the statement reads.

“This track is incredibly special to me, and I believe it will resonate deeply with listeners. So, as usual, expect nothing less than beautiful music at its peak.”

On how he came about ‘Amapiano’, Bims said he was working on another song and just decided to “freestyle” and that was how the track came to be.

“Interestingly, I can’t pinpoint the exact moment of inspiration for this track. I was just in my room, working on another song, and I produced the beat to a good level. I decided to freestyle,” he said.

“Initially, I wasn’t sure if people would connect with the idea, so I invited a few friends to listen. Their extraordinary reaction made me realize that the song was something special.”
