Asake, the Nigerian singer, has released a new single titled ‘Only Me’.
The singer unveiled the song on the occasion of his birthday on January 13.
The track serves as Asake’s first release of the year.
The music star’s rhythmic journey through ‘Only Me’ captures the essence of self-discovery and unapologetic pride in personal achievements.
Asake seamlessly maintains his signature flow while infusing an irresistible dance beat in the song.
He also beckones for applause, labeling himself a ”child of grace”.

Asake, born Ahmed Ololade, gained prominence in 2020 after he put out ‘Lady’, his hit song.
He joined the YBNL record label in February 2022.
In April, Asake revealed that he sings mostly in Yoruba because music transcends language barriers.
He has received several awards and recognitions for his talent.
He recently got a Grammy nomination in the Best African Music Performance’ category for ‘Amapiano’, his hit song with Olamide, the rapper.
In 2023, he clinched the prize for music at the 2023 Future Awards.
