Remilekun Safaru, a Nigerian singer better known as Reminisce, has released the official visuals for ‘Instagram’, his recent single, featuring Olamide and Naira Marley.

The video, which was released on Monday, also features Sarz, an Edo-born record producer and musician.

It opens with Remisce’s silhouette sauntering through a dimly lit trench as he ushers in his colleagues who, with the renewed surge of beats, kickstart a frenetic bout of dancing that gives way to a scene with the semblance of a night club.

In his short-lived rap turn, Olamide complains about Instagram damsels who splash pictures of themselves dressed racily all over social media in a bid to tempt his kind into making an attempt at them “so early in the morning.”

Taking over from Olamide, Reminisce crystalizes the rap war with his own bout of complaints as the video ends with a bevy of ladies preoccupied with their phone cameras while the three music stars drool.

With the production credits going to Sarz, ‘Instagram’ comes with a blend of indigenous beats and Yoruba rap lines that detail the romantic escapades of the four music stars as they struggle against bankruptcy while pining after damsels.

Reminisce, who leads the pack, is an Ogun state-born crooner whose music often spans hip hop, Afrobeats, and rap.

In April, he had ended his hiatus from the music scene while noting that he only took a break to live a normal life and spend time with his family.

“I wanted to enjoy life as a regular guy and not having to think about what the next single or video is going to be. I wanted to put off bothering myself as to whether or not a song was a hit,” he had said.
