Adesua ‘Susu’ Etomi-Wellington, the Nigerian actress and singer, has put out her debut extended play (EP) titled ‘Sue Me’.
The songstress announced the release of the five-track project on streaming platforms on Wednesday.
Tracks in the body of work include ‘Dogged A Bullet’, ‘Intro’, ‘Hold You Down’, ‘Too Much’ and ‘Champ’s Song’ featuring Banky W, her husband.
‘Hold Down’ sees the songstress pledging to always support her lover no matter the situation.
In ‘Dogged A Bullet’, Susu recounts a heartbreaking tale.
She also expresses her happiness that she healed from the experience and escaped her former lover’s “bullet”.
“Now that I’m gone/ You said that you miss me/ When I gave you my heart one hundred and fifty/ You said that you want me back/ But I have simply moved on to the next/ And make sure you’re my ex, no longer my baby/ Cos I wonder how we became lovers/ Sometimes I wonder how you kept me under/ But I dodged the bullet eh eh/ Ope,” she sings.
The film star announced her foray into the music industry in February this year.
The mother of one also followed it up with the release of her debut single titled ‘So Natural’.
