Chukwuma Soludo, former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, has finally been sworn in as the governor of Anambra state.
Since his victory at the polls in November last year, the politician has become a subject of interest to many Nigerians.
However, a lot of Nigerians do not, perhaps, know that Ozonna, his son, is a musician.
Ozonna may not be Davido, Burna Boy, or Wizkid, but the 28-year-old has been making waves in the music industry for a while.
BORN IN NIGERIA, RAISED IN THE US
Ozonna was born in Nigeria but grew up in the United States. The New York-based artiste graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Music in London.
The singer is known for his ability to skillfully combine pop, dance, and African rhythms with other music genres. He has also continued to dazzle his fans in Nigeria and the diaspora with his unique sounds.
MUSIC CAREER AND SONGS
The artiste and content creator, who has about 30,000 followers on his Instagram page, started gaining attention in 2013 after he dropped his free promo single titled ‘Me & You On Top’. The project fetched the singer fame in the United Kingdom.
He also performed in London at several shows organised by popular artistes and music bands including Chrystal Fighters, Kyla La Grange, We Have Band, and Alice Gold.
In 2015, the musician came through with ‘Believe It to See It’, his debut five-track extended play (EP).
The project features tracks such as ‘Believe It, To See It’, ‘We Glow’, ‘Wonderland’, ‘Corrupt Mind’ and ‘Smile’.
Other of his songs include ‘Play It Cool’ and ‘So Good.’
