A lot is happening in the life of Dapo ‘D’banj’ Oyebanjo and an upcoming album is just one.

The singer, 37, whose birthday is today, has announced the imminent release of ‘King Don Come’ – which would be his fourth studio album.

The announcement, via a tracklist uploaded to Instagram, comes two weeks after he shared with the world the birth of his first child, Daniel The Third.

‘King Don Come’ has ten songs and two bonus tracks, ‘Top of the World’ and ‘Oliver Twist’.

One of the standout singles on the album, which will soon be released, is ‘It’s Not a Lie’. The track features Wande Coal and Harrysong.

D’banj started out with the JJC and 419 Squad in London, UK, before teaming up with Don Jazzy to establish Mo’Hits Records.

The pair parted ways in 2012 and D’banj went on to set up D’Kings Men while his former collaborator founded Mavin Records.

The singer has released six albums in total – four studio albums and two compilation albums.

His first album, ‘No Long Thing’ was released in 2005, followed by ‘RunDown Funk U Up’ in 2006 and a compilation album, ‘Curriculum Vitae’, in 2007.

D’banj’s last album with Mo’Hits was 2008’s ‘The Entertainer’.

Under D’Kings Men, he released an eponymous compilation album in 2013.
