A man who is believed to be riding a bicycle from Benue to Lagos to see Davido has refused to return home despite a monetary promise from the singer.
The young man announced, on Thursday, that he has spent eight days on the road.
In his reply, the singer stressed that he is currently not at home. He also urged the fan to turn around and go back home.
But the fan insisted on coming to Lagos to see Davido, adding he is already in Benin.
Responding, Davido asked the cyclist to send his bank account details, maintaining he is not home.
The singer also encouraged him to embark on the journey when he returns.
Jumping on the conversation, an X user urged the young man not to send his account number, but “wait in Lagos till he arrives”.
“I hope he doesn’t send his bank account. Continue on your trip and wait till he arrives. Don’t ask for the fish. @emmiwuks,” he wrote.
In his reply, the young man who is yet to share his account details, averred that he will wait until he sees Davido physically.

Davido also shared a post indicating that he is currently in Croatia.
He recently expressed his worries after another fan opened up on plans to trek from Taraba to Lagos just to see him.
