Portable, the controversial singer, has begged Davido, the Afrobeats star, for a collaboration.
In a recent Instagram post, Portable shared a freestyle song where he sang about having a chorus that needs Davido’s musical dexterity.
Singing in a mixture of Yoruba and pidgin English, the ‘Zazoo’ crooner said he believes doing a music collaboration with Davido is akin to a “money ritual”.
“I got believe that destiny has no committee/ Go out and make things happen/ Don’t wait until things happen/ E bami be Davido/ Owo baba Imade/ Make e give me one verse/ Alaye mi Davido/ Ogun owo/ Alaye mi give me one verse oo/ please have mercy on me/ Who go help you no go stress you/,” Portable sings.

“Davido Ogun Owo Music industry Carry Me Trabaye Bless me with one verse,” he captioned the post.
“Who Go Help You No Go Stress You. I Gat Chorus ZAZUU IKA OF AFRICA. Dr ZEH Nation has many many inspirations.”
The 29-year-old street singer also shared a clip from an audio chat between him and Davido.
Responding to his request via voice note, Davido simply hailed him, saying ”Zazoo Zazoo.’’
Portable gained popularity in December 2021 when he featured Olamide and Poco Lee for ‘Zazoo Zeh’, a song that became a street hop song.
The singer has continued to stir pots of unending controversies.
