Davido first embarked on the philanthropic routine in November 2021 — on the occasion of his birthday.
The ‘Timeless’ hitmaker launched a Twitter fundraiser and donated the N250 million realised to orphanages.
In July last year, the Afrobeats star also gave out the sum of N237 million to various orphanage homes across Nigeria.
The 31-year-old singer went on to reaffirm his commitment to continually assist the less privileged in any capacity.
The donation also comes at about the same time when many citizens of Nigeria are grappling with economic hardship occasioned by the policies under the government of President Bola Tinubu.
Residents in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, took to the streets on Monday to decry the state of the country.
Several protests were also staged in Kano, Ogun, Niger and Sokoto states.
The labour union announced a nationwide protest on February 27 and 28 over the rising cost of living.
Food prices have been on the rise since Tinubu pronounced an end to the petrol subsidy regime on May 29, 2023.
There have also been reports about an imminent increase in the cost of fuel from N585.
