David Adeleke, Nigerian Afropop singer better known as Davido, has confirmed that Chioma Avril Rowland, his wife-to-be, is pregnant.
The good news comes a few days after the gifted singer proposed to his sweetheart.
In the past weeks, the internet has been overwhelmed with speculations of her pregnancy. Some media outlets even claimed she had put to bed.
Davido, however, took to his Instagram page on Friday to break the news of her pregnancy. He also called the newborn ‘LILOBO’.
The singer rose to fame in 2011 with the release of ‘Dami Duro’, the second single from ‘Omo Baba Olowo (OBO)’, his debut studio album.
“A beautiful life. My beautiful wife. Thank you for everything @thechefchi ! And thank you in advance for what we expecting ! 👶🏾 #LILOBO,” he wrote.
In a picture that accompanied the post, Davido is seen on his kneels making the marriage proposal to Chioma, who’s baby bump appears to be visible.
She is carrying the singer’s third child. Davido already has two beautiful daughters from two baby mamas.
Last week, he had open up on plans to tie the knot with Chioma, saying that 2020 is the anticipated year for the big event.
“We have not started all that plans yet. 2020 is the year for sure,” the singer had said.
This was few days after he had concluded an introduction ceremony with his would be wife’s family.
Chioma, 24, is reported to have met Davido while studying economics at Babcock University.
