Dammy Krane appears to be reigniting his long-standing feud with Davido after announcing an upcoming EP titled ‘5ive’ — the same name as his colleague’s recently announced project.

Initially scheduled for March 14, the Grammy nominated singer had announced that ‘5ive’ will now be released on April 18.

Similarly, Krane took to social media to reveal that his EP will drop on April 18, coinciding with Davido’s scheduled album release date.

The announcement has sparked a wave of mixed reactions on social media, with many fans calling the move “childish” and questioning why Krane is prolonging the rift.

The feud between the pair started in October 2023 after Krane called out Davido on social media. He claimed he owed him for songwriting contributions.

Krane also accused the ‘Assurance’ hitmaker of sabotaging his record deal with Sony Music.

The singer further claimed Davido is involved in the death of his friend Tagbo Umeike.

Tagbo died from alleged alcohol poisoning in October 2017.

Davido threatened to sue Krane for “defamation of character and cyberbullying”.

In August 2024, Krane alleged that Davido orchestrated his arrest. He was released after spending nearly a week in detention at the Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).

Shortly after his release, Krane apologised to Davido for the allegations he had made against him.
