Daddy Freeze, Nigerian broadcaster and social activist, has reacted to a statement made by Yul Edochie, Nollywood actor, on his calling to be a pastor.
The movie star had taken to his Twitter page to disclose that he might be considering hitting the pastoral scene because he seems to have a calling to serve God.
Daddy Freeze, however, questioned Edochie’s pastoral calling from God, suggesting that such calling might be from Satan.
“Great way to showcase your ‘manifestations’ by telling people to disobey what Christ said in Matthew 5:44 and follow their emotions instead like you recently suggested on twitter. Looks like a missed call in my humble opinion, don’t take it too seriously,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Are you even sure it was the LORD of heaven’s armies that called you, not the god of this world, Satan, as seen in 2Corinthians 4:4? Because, for all you know, there could have been a gathering of the heavenly court as seen in Job chapters 1 and 2, where Satan had access to God’s phone and maybe called you?”

The controversial media personality went ahead to quote biblical verses like Job 1:6, 2 Corinthians 4:4, and Matthew 5:44, where there happened to be a “heavenly court” that saw Satan associate with angels, all of whom presented themselves before God.
Freeze has been in the news over his engagements with public figures and celebrities — having taken a shot at Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, award-winning writer, over her statement that allegedly took feminism too far.
Yul has similarly made the headlines for some of his opinions on social matters, including statements that came as dissuasive of Nigerians celebrating independence and his ambition to “fix Nigeria’s problems” by running for governor, and president.
