Entertainers turned up at the burial of the late mother of Don Jazzy, the Nigerian music producer.
In late July, Don Jazzy confirmed the passing of his mum who had been battling cancer until her death.
The burial, which happened on Friday, united the music executive’s family, friends, and industry acquaintances.
Obi Cubana, Banky W, Mr. Macaroni, M.I. Abaga, Pretty Mike, and Ayra Starr showed up to be with Don Jazzy.
After his mother’s death, Don Jazzy was vocal about being engrossed in reflection on the essence of life.
“Experience is truly the best teacher. Before I thank everyone for their calls, visits, and messages,” he had tweeted.
“I need to first apologize to my friends and associates who lost loved ones and don’t think I was there enough for them. I know better now and sadly, I had to learn the hard way.
“Thank you everyone for your support over the last few days. It has meant the world to me. Funeral details will be shared once finalized. We will also share links so you can join us remotely from wherever you are.”
Earlier announcing his mother’s passing, Don Jazzy had said: “I’m beyond devastated. I have never felt pain like this in my life but I’m consoled by the good life she lived. She was liked by everyone that ever met her.
“She was so strong till the last minute for us even while she battled cancer. I have never typed a note difficult caption in my life.”
