Don Jazzy is reflecting on his own support for his bereaved friends during their grief.

The record producer, who recently lost his mother to cancer, took to Twitter to speak of her burial arrangements.

He apologised to friends who he said might feel he didn’t support them enough during their own grief.

“Experience is truly the best teacher. Before I thank everyone for their calls, visits, and messages,” he wrote.

“I need to first apologize to my friends and associates who lost loved ones and don’t think I was there enough for them. I know better now and sadly, I had to learn the hard way.

“Thank you everyone for your support over the last few days.

“It has meant the world to me. Funeral details will be shared once finalized. We will also share links so you can join us remotely from wherever you are.”

Earlier announcing his mother’s passing, Don Jazzy had said: “I’m beyond devastated.

“I have never felt pain like this in my life but I’m consoled by the good life she lived.

“She was liked by everyone that ever met her.

“She was so strong till the last minute for us even while she battled with cancer. I have never typed a note difficult caption in my life.”
