Cardi B, a US rapper and TV personality, has shown concern for her fans in Nigeria amid the nationwide #EndSARS protests aimed to put an end to police brutality on citizens.
The 27-year-old songwriter was reacting on Friday after a fan pleaded with her to use her huge platform to publicise the #EndSARS campaign currently gaining momentum in the country.
“Madam, Trump is not your only problem. Your beloved Nigeria is currently in a state of pandemonium. We are not safe!! If you’ve ever loved this country, please help use your platform to create more awareness for us. Enough is enough! #EndSarsProtest #EndSARSNow,” Asiwaju Larry wrote on Twitter.
In her reaction, the Grammy-winning rapper asked for a summary of what was going on in the country so she could do her research while reaffirming her love for Nigeria.
“What’s going? Can you give me a summary so i can research later. You know i love Nigeria,” she wrote.

Ever since Cardi B visited Nigeria in December 2019, the mother of one has always expressed her love for the country.
Days after departing the country, the rapper disclosed that she was missing Africa’s most populous nation.
In January, the ‘Bodak’ rapper had threatened that she could file for Nigerian citizenship in the wake of President Donald Trump’ inspired attack on Iran.
The ‘WAP’ crooner also pondered on what Nigerian tribe she would be settling for.
